Erin Cochran
Your House Whisperer
Do you remember the story of Goldilocks & The Three Bears? The little house, the mix of small, medium, and large furniture, and that search for what felt "just right?" I loved that story growing up-and honestly, it shaped me.
I've always been drawn to places with character and personal history, starting with the remodel of my own small farmhouse in 2006, which changed everything. It's why I started Revealing Redesign.
If I'm honest, though, it started earlier than that. Much earlier. My youngest memories are of being raised by a mom who was never proud of her house, and who always dreaded hosting family or friends.
As I got older, I learned that function and beauty could be studied and applied with intention to create the environments for a well-lived life. Part of me knew early on that I wanted to help others achieve that.
As a young person growing up in Media, Pennsylvania, I was deeply involved in the arts, especially studying music (as encouraged by my grandmother, who was an accomplished violinist).
I was also fascinated by historic buildings and studied art and painting with a local artist named Karl Kuerner (himself a student of Carolyn and Andrew Wyeth).
In hindsight, I can see how that environment rich in personal expression, color, composition, and history shaped me.
Perhaps surprisingly, I started my professional life as a nurse. Everything quickly changed, however, after we bought our historic farmhouse in the mid-1990s. My husband and I dove into tireless updates-all our free time on evenings and weekends was devoted to restoring space after space. Our plan revolved around making the 1700s house more livable for our family as it grew to include two children, all while preserving its original character.
That's when life seemed to tie loose ends. Everything I'd ever done or loved had pointed me in this direction, and I had found my calling.
Now that my husband and I are empty nesters, the farmhouse is inhabited by me, my husband, our two rescue pups Penelope and Fiona, and Flor the cat (who believes she's actually the one who owns the place).
On the weekends, you'll still find us working on the house and in the garden, or heading out for a hike with the pups, or planning our next trip to South America, where my husband tours annually as a Latin bass player.

What I Do
I call myself a House Whisperer, not just an interior designer. My work is about insight-figuring out why your home never quite worked, why it hasn't felt welcoming, or why you don't feel that lift in your heart when you walk through the door.
A home can be beautiful and still drain you.
A home that's frustrating will quietly wear you down.

Annette Rose-Popeck
INTERIOR DESIGN ASSISTANT
Annette has worked alongside Erin since 2017. As an Interior Design Assistant, she supports every stage of the design process with her keen eye for detail, strong organization, and passion for creating spaces that are uniquely tailored to each client.
Annette collaborates closely with Erin on furnishings, finishes, Soulful Home Day preparation, and other details that bring a design vision to life. What does that mean for homeowners? Annette is dedicated to making each design experience as personal and smoothly run as possible.
Design is Annette's love language, she often says. She believes that a thoughtfully crafted room can transform how we feel, gather, and live. Now that her two children have flown the nest, Annette enjoys life with Jerry and their Yorkie, Tobey. Her favorite days are filled with things she loves, time spent in the garden, hiking/walks, birdwatching from the deck, heading to the theater with friends, or hosting friends/family at the house around the fire pit.
Laurie Berry
Procurement Specialist and Client Concierge
Laurie joined Revealing Redesign in 2022 as our Client Concierge. With a Master of Business Administration and years of experience in the interior design industry, she handles the logistics and furnishing procurement for the team.
What does that mean for homeowners? Laurie works directly with clients to manage all the moving parts of operations. Furniture sourcing, estimates, invoices, orders, deliveries, and scheduling are all handled by her so that clients can focus on their vision and nothing else.
She also plays the piano, is learning to play the guitar, and volunteers at her church and children's school. You'll otherwise find her enjoying the outdoors, completing crossword puzzles or reading mystery novels.
Penelope
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
Penelope is always there when the team needs a peaceful presence or a calming influence. A sweetie through and through (unless you are a groundhog), she is the quiet strength of the group-and our go-to girl if we need to rid the garden of vermin. Hahah.
Fiona
CHIEF OF COMIC RELIEF
Between her loud snores emanating from the doggie bed in the studio, taking breaks from her long naps to chase the cat, and her nudges under the desk to get pets whenever possible, Fiona makes sure that no one forgets that the real reason we all are here is to savor life and have fun.

THE BOSS
As long as her bowl has food in it, everyone is allowed to go on living.
