Well, hi! It has been a while since I have written. Boy, have things been busy!!
Not to mention that my camera was unusable. (Does anyone else find it ironic that my children couldn’t remember where its memory card was?!?)
ANYWAYS, one of my newest contracts is for a complete overhaul of a fantastic midcentury house nearby. I am so excited to get started. We are planning to install tile through the foyer, kitchen and living/dining area of the home and I have been looking forward to seeing what I could find for these areas that would be beautiful and also respect the style and architecture of the house. Yesterday I went to scope out some options, and pretty much found the ideal materials within minutes–natural slate, perhaps to be inlaid with a slate and glass tile border. The perfect combination for the setting and vintage of the house.
Did I mention how excited I am? Well, I am.
I will keep you posted on the progress and show you some “befores” soon. It is going to be GAWGEOUS!
